What is important to you – tasks or relationship?
It can be so tempting to focus on the many ‘tasks’ we want to complete. Yet, the quality of our lives and careers are wholly linked to the quality of our relationships. So is our ability to complete the many tasks we have in our minds and on our lists.
Learning to communicate so that we are able to smoothly build and maintain the relationships we need to live fulfilled lives, enjoy fulfilling careers and get done what we need to do in this environment, is a vital part of professional and personal development.
Focusing on relationships, not only tasks, takes a little effort at first, but pays off in the long run.
